Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Mrs. Cubbison’s seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a baking dish lightly with butter.

Cook the Vegetables

  • Heat butter in a skillet. Add onions and celery. Cook until soft and fragrant.

Add Seasonings

  • Add garlic powder, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir well to mix evenly with vegetables.

Add Stuffing Mix

  • Pour stuffing mix into a large bowl. Add cooked vegetables on top and combine gently.

Add Broth

  • Pour chicken broth slowly. Stir until stuffing becomes moist but not soggy or wet.

Transfer to Dish

  • Pour stuffing mixture into your baking dish. Spread evenly using a spatula.

Bake the Stuffing

  • Bake for 30 minutes. The top should become golden and slightly crisp.

Cool and Serve

  • Let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with turkey, chicken or gravy.

Notes

  • Add extra broth if you like softer stuffing.
  • Bake longer for a crispier top layer.
  • Add cooked sausage for more flavor and protein.
  • Use vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
