  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup vegetable broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

Prepare the Mushrooms

  • Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth. Slice them evenly for even cooking.

Cook the Onion and Garlic

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add onions and garlic. Cook until soft and golden.

Add the Mushrooms

  • Add sliced mushrooms to the pan. Stir well to mix with onions and garlic. Cook for 5–7 minutes until mushrooms are soft.
