Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2:
In a saucepan, let butter gently melt on medium heat.
Step 3:
Add onion, carrots, celery and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
Step 4:
Stir in flour, cook for 1-2 minutes.
Step 5:
Gradually pour in fish stock, stirring continuously.
Step 6:
Add cream, stir until thickened. Season with salt, pepper, herbs.
Step 7:
Add fish and seafood, gently combine.
Step 8:
Cook diced potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Step 9:
Drain potatoes, return to pot.
Step 10:
Add butter and milk, mash until smooth.
Step 11:
Transfer fish mixture to a baking dish.
Step 12:
Spread mashed potatoes evenly over fish.
Step 13:
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Step 14:
Let cool slightly before serving.
Step 15:
Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
