Ingredients

  • Milk low-fat or almond – 1½ cups
  • Vanilla protein powder – 1 scoop
  • Fresh mint leaves – 10 leaves
  • Honey or sweetener – 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract – ½ teaspoon
  • Chocolate chips sugar-free – 2 tablespoons
  • Spinach optional, for color – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Blend the Base

  • Add milk, protein powder, mint leaves, honey and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend until smooth. The mixture should look creamy and slightly green from the mint leaves.

Adjust Sweetness and Flavor

  • Taste the mixture before freezing. Add more sweetener if needed. You can also add a few more mint leaves for a stronger flavor. Blend again for a smooth texture.

Freeze the Mixture

  • Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover it well. Freeze for at least 8–10 hours until completely solid. This step is very important for best results.

Process in Ninja Creami

  • Place the frozen container into the Ninja Creami machine. Select the “Lite Ice Cream” or “Ice Cream” setting. Let the machine process until creamy and smooth.

Re-spin if Needed

  • If the texture looks crumbly, use the “Re-spin” function. This helps make the ice cream smoother and creamier. Repeat if needed for best texture.

Add Chocolate Chips

  • Make a small hole in the center of the ice cream. Add chocolate chips. Use the “Mix-In” function to combine them evenly into the ice cream.

Notes

  • Use cold milk for better blending.
  • Do not skip freezing step.
  • Re-spin helps improve texture.
  • Use fresh mint for best flavor.
  • Add more protein powder for extra protein.
