Ingredients
  

  • 400 g beef strips
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 200 g egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
  

Cook the Noodles

  • Boil water in a pot and add salt. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. Keep them warm for serving later.

Sear the Beef

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef strips and cook quickly. Sear until browned on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables

  • In the same skillet, add butter. Add chopped onion and cook until soft. Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Stir often for even cooking.

Add Garlic and Flour

  • Add minced garlic and cook for one minute. Sprinkle flour over vegetables. Stir well to coat everything. This helps thicken the sauce later.

Add Broth and Simmer

  • Slowly pour in beef broth while stirring. Mix well to avoid lumps. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until slightly thick.

Add Sour Cream

  • Reduce heat to low. Add sour cream and mix gently. Do not boil after adding cream. This keeps the sauce smooth and creamy.

Combine Beef and Sauce

  • Add cooked beef back into the skillet. Stir well to coat with sauce. Let it cook for a few minutes so flavors blend nicely.

Serve and Garnish

  • Serve beef stroganoff over warm noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy it hot for best taste and comfort.
