Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Optional: chopped chives or parsley for topping

Instructions

Boil the Eggs

  • Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Then, cool in ice water.

Peel the Eggs

  • Tap each egg gently to crack the shell. Peel under cold running water. Pat dry with a paper towel. This prevents any shell pieces from mixing with the filling.

Slice Eggs in Half

  • Use a sharp knife to cut eggs lengthwise. Remove the yolks carefully. Place the yolks in a separate mixing bowl for filling preparation.

Prepare the Filling

  • Mash the egg yolks with a fork until smooth. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy and well combined.

Fill the Egg Whites

  • Spoon the yolk mixture into the egg white halves. Use a piping bag or a small spoon for neat presentation. Fill generously without overflowing.

Garnish the Eggs

  • Sprinkle paprika over the top of each stuffed egg. Add chopped chives or parsley for extra color and flavor. This makes them look appetizing and festive.

Chill Before Serving

  • Place the stuffed eggs in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. This helps the filling set and enhances the flavor. Serve cold for best taste.

Notes

  • Use fresh eggs for best texture and taste
  • Chill eggs before peeling to make it easier
  • Adjust mayonnaise for creaminess to your preference
  • Sprinkle paprika just before serving to maintain color
  • Optional: add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy twist
