Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes or cereal of choice
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Melt butter and peanut butter

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt peanut butter and butter together until smooth. Stir to combine evenly without lumps.

Add sugars and vanilla

  • Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract into the melted peanut butter. Stir until smooth and fully combined.

Stir in cereal

  • Add crushed cornflakes or your choice of cereal. Fold carefully so the cereal stays crunchy and coated with the peanut butter mixture.

Form small clusters

  • Spoon small portions of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Shape into bite-sized clusters for easy snacking.

Melt chocolate

  • In a microwave or double boiler, melt chocolate chips until smooth. Stir gently to avoid burning or separating chocolate.

Drizzle chocolate over clusters

  • Use a spoon to drizzle melted chocolate over each peanut butter cluster. Let chocolate set slightly before serving.

Chill the clusters

  • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes. This helps the clusters firm up and hold their shape.

Serve and enjoy

  • Remove clusters from fridge. Arrange on a plate or store in a container. Enjoy crunchy, sweet, peanut buttery goodness.

Notes

  • Use smooth peanut butter for creamy coating
  • Lightly crush cereal for better texture
  • Drizzle chocolate for extra flavor
  • Chill clusters for firm, easy-to-handle treats
  • Store in airtight container to maintain crunch
