- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 –6 cups cornflake cereal or rice cereal
Heat the Peanut Butter Mixture
In a saucepan, add sugar and corn syrup.
Cook on medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Add the Cereal
Place cereal in a large bowl.
Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over it.
Stir gently until all cereal is coated.
- Do not boil the sugar mixture—just heat until dissolved.
- For extra crunch, add chopped peanuts.
- Use rice cereal if you want a lighter texture.
- Add melted chocolate drizzle on top for a sweet twist.
- Press gently—too much pressure can make bars hard.
