Ingredients
  

  • Pie crust – 1 ready-made
  • Bacon – 6 strips chopped
  • Breakfast sausage – ½ pound
  • Onion – 1 small chopped
  • Eggs – 8 large
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • Whole milk – ½ cup
  • Cheddar cheese – 1½ cups shredded
  • Salt – ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Paprika – ½ teaspoon
  • Butter – 1 tablespoon

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Place pie crust into dish and set aside.

Cook the Bacon

  • Cook chopped bacon in skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Sausage

  • Cook sausage in same skillet until browned. Break into small pieces.

Sauté the Onion

  • Add butter and onion to skillet. Cook until soft and lightly golden.

Combine the Meats

  • Add bacon back into skillet. Mix with sausage and onion evenly.

Fill the Crust

  • Spread meat mixture evenly inside the prepared pie crust.

Mix the Eggs

  • Whisk eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper and paprika until smooth.

Add the Cheese

  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over meat layer inside the crust.

Pour the Egg Mix

  • Slowly pour egg mixture over filling. Do not overfill the crust.

Bake the Quiche

  • Bake for 40 minutes until center sets and top turns golden.

Rest Before Cutting

  • Let quiche rest ten minutes before slicing. This helps it hold shape.
