Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter soft
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup colorful candy-coated chocolates

Instructions
  

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. This helps cookies not stick and makes cleaning easy later.

Mix Butter and Sugars

  • In a bowl, add butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy. This step gives cookies a soft texture.

Add Eggs and Vanilla

  • Crack eggs into the mixture. Add vanilla extract. Mix well until everything blends smoothly. The batter should look creamy and slightly fluffy.

Add Dry Ingredients

  • Add baking soda, flour and oats. Mix slowly. Do not overmix. The dough will be thick and slightly sticky at this stage.

Fold in Chocolate and Candies

  • Add chocolate chips and candy-coated chocolates. Fold gently using a spoon. Make sure they spread evenly in the dough.

Scoop the Dough

  • Use a cookie scoop or spoon. Place dough balls on the tray. Leave space between cookies because they spread while baking.

Bake the Cookies

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes. Edges should look golden. Centers stay soft. Do not overbake, or cookies will turn hard.

Cool Before Serving
