Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzels crushed
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup sugar for cream layer
  • 1 packet raspberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

Crush the Pretzels

  • Place pretzels in a zip bag. Crush them using a rolling pin until small pieces form. Do not make them too fine. Small chunks give better texture.

Make the Crust

  • Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar. Stir well until coated. Press mixture into a baking dish evenly. Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes. Let it cool fully.

Prepare the Cream Layer

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add whipped topping and mix gently. Spread this layer over cooled crust evenly.

Chill the Base

  • Place the dish in the fridge for 30 minutes. This helps the cream layer set properly. It also keeps layers separate and clean.

Prepare the Gelatin

  • In a bowl, add raspberry gelatin to boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add cold water and mix well. Let it cool slightly before using.

Add the Fruit Layer

  • Place fresh raspberries over the cream layer. Spread them evenly for balanced flavor in every bite.

Pour the Gelatin

  • Slowly pour the cooled gelatin over raspberries. Do not pour too fast. This keeps the layers neat and prevents mixing.

Chill Until Set

  • Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours. The gelatin should fully set before serving. This step is very important for best texture.

Notes

  • Do not skip chilling time for best results.
  • Make sure crust is fully cooled before adding cream.
  • Use fresh raspberries for better flavor.
  • Pour gelatin slowly to keep layers clean.
  • Use a glass dish for a beautiful look.
