  • Cream cheese softened – 8 ounces
  • Mayonnaise – ½ cup
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Onion powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Salt – ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper – ¼ teaspoon
  • Fresh dill or parsley chopped – 1 tablespoon

Instructions

Prepare the shrimp

  • Chop cooked shrimp into very small pieces. Make sure the shrimp is dry before mixing.

Mix the cream base

  • Add cream cheese and mayonnaise to a bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Add seasonings

  • Stir in lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper gently.

Add the shrimp

  • Fold chopped shrimp into the mixture. Mix slowly so the shrimp stays chunky.

Add fresh herbs

  • Mix in chopped dill or parsley. This adds fresh flavor and color.

Chill before serving

  • Cover the bowl and chill for 30 minutes. This helps flavors blend better.

Notes

  • Use fully cooled shrimp for best texture.

  • Taste and adjust salt before chilling.
  • Fresh lemon juice gives better flavor.
  • Chill longer for thicker dip.
