Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted pistachios
  • 1 cup milk or plant-based milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup cream or heavy cream
  • Crushed ice optional
  • Whipped cream for topping optional
  • Chopped pistachios for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Soak the pistachios

  • Place pistachios in a small bowl. Cover with water and soak for 1–2 hours to soften them slightly.

Drain and rinse pistachios

  • After soaking, drain water and rinse pistachios under cold water. This helps remove any residue.

Blend pistachios and milk

  • Add pistachios and milk to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Ensure no large chunks remain.

Add sugar and vanilla

  • Pour sugar and vanilla extract into the blender. Blend again for a few seconds to mix well.

Mix in cream

  • Add heavy cream to the blender. Blend on low speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Adjust consistency

  • If the drink is too thick, add a little more milk. Blend again to get a smooth, pourable texture.

Prepare glasses

  • Pour the Pistachio Shot into small glasses or shot glasses. Leave some space for topping if desired.

Add optional ice

  • If you like it chilled, add a few crushed ice cubes to each shot before serving.

Top with whipped cream

  • Add a small swirl of whipped cream on top for extra richness and creamy texture.

Garnish with pistachios

  • Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the whipped cream. Serve immediately for best taste and presentation.
