Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional for extra heat

Instructions

Combine Ingredients

  • In a saucepan, combine hot sauce, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar and spices. Stir well until smooth and mixed.

Heat the Sauce

  • Place saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer. Do not let it boil.

Simmer and Thicken

  • Reduce heat to low. Let sauce simmer for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking and thicken slightly.

Taste and Adjust

  • Taste the sauce. Add more honey if you want it sweeter or more hot sauce for extra heat. Stir well.

Blend for Smoothness (Optional)

  • If you want a smooth sauce, use a blender. Blend until creamy and free of lumps. This is optional.

Cool the Sauce

  • Remove sauce from heat. Let it cool for 5–10 minutes before using. This helps flavors combine.

Store the Sauce

  • Pour the sauce into a clean jar. Seal tightly. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Use Shut Yo Mouth Sauce on chicken, fries, burgers or anything you like. Enjoy the bold, tangy flavor.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper to control heat level.
  • Use high-quality honey for better flavor.
  • Simmer on low heat to avoid burning.
  • Stir constantly for even thickness.
  • Store in an airtight container for freshness.
