Ingredients
  

  • 10 Skinner lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles

  • Boil water in a large pot. Add Skinner lasagna noodles. Cook until soft and drain the noodles well.

Prepare the Meat

  • Heat oil in a skillet. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until brown and fragrant.

Add the Sauce

  • Pour marinara sauce into the skillet. Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and let it simmer.

Mix the Cheese

  • Add ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan to a bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy for spreading.

Layer the Lasagna

  • Place three noodles in the dish. Spread meat sauce on top. Add cheese mix and sprinkle mozzarella.

Build More Layers

  • Repeat the layers. Add noodles, sauce, and cheese again. Make sure the toppings cover all parts.

Add the Final Layer

  • Place the last noodles. Add remaining sauce and a full layer of mozzarella cheese on top.

Cover and Bake

  • Cover the dish with foil. Bake in the oven at 375°F for 30 minutes for even cooking.

Uncover and Brown

  • Remove the foil. Bake for 15 more minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden.

Rest and Serve

  • Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes. Slice gently and serve warm with fresh parsley.

  • Use whole-milk cheese for a richer taste.
