Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries chopped – 6 cups
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries

  • Wash strawberries well under clean water. Remove stems and chop into small pieces. This helps them cook faster and blend easily into a smooth mixture later.

Blend the Mixture

  • Add chopped strawberries to a blender. Blend until smooth and slightly thick. You can leave small chunks if you like texture. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker.

Add Sugar and Lemon

  • Add sugar and lemon juice into the slow cooker. Mix well using a spoon. These ingredients help balance the sweetness and keep the color bright.

Slow Cook the Butter

  • Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours. Stir occasionally if possible. The mixture will slowly thicken and reduce. Leave the lid slightly open at the end for better thickness.

Add Vanilla and Cool

  • Once thick, turn off the slow cooker. Add vanilla extract and mix well. Let the strawberry butter cool completely before storing in jars.

Store and Enjoy

  • Pour the cooled butter into clean jars. Seal tightly and keep in the fridge. Use it on toast, pancakes or desserts anytime you like.

Notes

  • Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
  • Stir occasionally for even cooking.
  • Keep lid slightly open for thicker texture.
  • Do not add too much sugar.
  • Blend well for smooth consistency.
