Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ½ cups Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Mix the Sauce

  • In a bowl, mix Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.

Add to Crockpot

  • Place the chicken in the crockpot. Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the top, making sure the chicken is fully covered.

Cook the Chicken

  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.

Shred the Chicken

  • Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it with two forks. Return it to the crockpot and mix well with the sauce.

Simmer and Serve

  • Let it cook for another 15–20 minutes so the flavors blend perfectly. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs for tender results.
  • Add a little hot sauce if you like a spicy kick.
  • Stir halfway through cooking for even coating.
  • You can double the sauce if you love extra BBQ flavor.
  • Serve with coleslaw or cornbread for a classic combo.
