Ingredients
  

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough 8 biscuits
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Oil for frying vegetable or canola

Instructions
 

Prepare Cinnamon Sugar

  • Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside for coating.

Heat the Oil

  • Pour oil into a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until hot, but not smoking.

Cut Biscuit Dough

  • Open biscuit can. Cut each biscuit into 4–6 small pieces depending on size.

Fry the Dough

  • Carefully add dough pieces to hot oil. Fry 2–3 minutes until golden brown.

Turn Dough Pieces

  • Use a slotted spoon to turn pieces. Fry evenly on all sides.

Drain Excess Oil

  • Remove fried dough. Place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Coat with Cinnamon Sugar

  • Brush each piece lightly with melted butter. Roll in cinnamon sugar until coated.

Cool Slightly

  • Let the delights cool for 2–3 minutes. Serve warm for the best taste.

Optional Serving

  • Add a drizzle of cream cheese glaze or chocolate for extra indulgence.
