- Burger buns
- 2 cups Taro root peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup Onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cupĀ Carrot finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon Soy sauce
- Salt and pepper (To Taste)
- Toppings of your choice
Boil water with salt; cook taro for 10-12 minutes. Drain.
In a bowl, mash cooked taro until smooth.
Combine breadcrumbs, onion, carrot, soy sauce, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form mixture into round patties.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
Cook patties for 5-7 minutes each side until golden.
Toast buns lightly. Layer burgers with desired toppings.
