Ingredients
  

  • Burger buns
  • 2 cups Taro root peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cupĀ  Carrot finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper (To Taste)
  • Toppings of your choice

Instructions
 

  • Boil water with salt; cook taro for 10-12 minutes. Drain.
  • In a bowl, mash cooked taro until smooth.
  • Combine breadcrumbs, onion, carrot, soy sauce, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form mixture into round patties.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Cook patties for 5-7 minutes each side until golden.
  • Toast buns lightly. Layer burgers with desired toppings.

Notes

  • Picking Taro: Choose fresh and good taro.
  • Making Patty: Make sure the taro is mashed well for a good patty.
  • Adding Flavor: Use some salt and pepper for taste.
  • Cooking: Cook the Taro Burger on medium heat.
