Ingredients
  

  • 1 can tuna in water, drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • 2 Subway-style sandwich rolls or hoagie rolls
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Cucumber slices
  • Tomato slices
  • Cheese slices optional
  • Pickles optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Tuna

  • Open the can of tuna and drain the water. Put the tuna in a mixing bowl.

Add the Mayo and Lemon Juice

  • Add mayonnaise and lemon juice to the tuna. Mix them well until smooth and creamy.

Add Spices and Veggies

  • Add salt, black pepper, chopped onion, and celery. Mix everything gently until combined.

Prepare the Bread

  • Slice your sandwich roll in half. You can toast it if you like it warm.

Add Lettuce and Veggies

  • Place lettuce leaves on the bread. Add tomato and cucumber slices on top.

Add the Tuna Mix

  • Spread the creamy tuna mix evenly on the veggies. You can add cheese if you want.

Close the Sandwich

  • Place the top half of the roll on top. Press gently so everything stays in place.
