- 2 –3 pounds 900–1350g chicken wings
- 1/4 cup 60ml honey
- 1 tablespoon 15g chili powder
- 1 tablespoon 15g paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon 2.5g cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon 5g garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon 5g onion powder
- 2 tablespoons 30g brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon 5g salt
- 1/2 teaspoon 2.5g black pepper
- 2 tablespoons 30ml vegetable oil
- Optional extras:
- 1/2 teaspoon 2.5g crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon 5g dried herbs (thyme or oregano)
Step 3. Make Rub:
Mix honey, spices, sugar, salt, and pepper thoroughly.
Step 5. Arrange on Sheet:
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh spices and honey taste better.
- Coat evenly: Make sure each wing is fully covered with the rub.
- Marinate if possible: Let the wings sit with the rub for more flavor.
- Bake or fry: Both ways work, but frying makes them crispier.
- Don’t overcook: Watch the wings to keep them juicy.
