Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups raw almonds soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup water more if needed
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: fresh herbs like parsley or chives

Instructions

Soak and Drain Almonds

  • Soak almonds overnight in water. Drain and rinse them before using. Soaking softens almonds and makes the sauce creamy and smooth.

Blend Almonds with Water

  • Add soaked almonds and half the water to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more water if needed for consistency.

Add Flavor Ingredients

  • Add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper and smoked paprika. Blend until fully combined and creamy.

Add Olive Oil

  • Pour olive oil into the blender. Blend again to make the sauce silky and rich. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Optional: Add Herbs

  • If desired, add chopped fresh herbs like parsley or chives. Blend lightly to keep the sauce vibrant and fresh.

Store or Serve

  • Pour the sauce into a clean jar or container. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Serve as a dip, spread or dressing.

  • Use fresh lemon juice for bright flavor.
