Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
Mix cracker crumbs with melted butter.
Press the mix into the pan bottom.
Beat cream cheese in a bowl until smooth.
Add sugar and beat until creamy.
Add eggs one by one, mix slowly.
Stir in vanilla until combined.
Pour batter over crust in pan.
Bake for 55 minutes
Turn off the oven and leave cheesecake inside.
Let it cool before removing from the pan.
Melt butter in a saucepan and add brown sugar.
Stir until sugar melts and turns sticky.
Add banana slices and cook until golden.
Pour in rum and let it bubble.
Add cream and stir to make glaze.
Spoon bananas and glaze over cheesecake.
Chill for 2 hours before serving.
