Ingredients
  

  • 500 g beef strips
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 2 green chillies sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds optional
  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Beef

  • Mix beef strips with cornflour, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Coat evenly and set aside.

Heat the Pan

  • Add oil to a frying pan over medium-high heat. Wait until it becomes hot.

Cook the Beef

  • Add beef to the pan. Fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides.

Remove Beef

  • Take beef out of the pan. Place it on a plate with paper towels to drain oil.

Cook the Veggies

  • In the same pan, add onion, bell pepper and chillies. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.

Add Garlic

  • Add minced garlic. Stir quickly to release aroma without burning it.

Return Beef to Pan

  • Add cooked beef back into the pan with vegetables. Mix well to combine.

Add Sauces

  • Add oyster sauce and a splash of soy sauce. Stir everything evenly.

Add Rice

  • Add cooked rice to the pan. Mix well with beef and vegetables until heated.

Garnish and Serve

  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and coriander over the rice. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use beef strips for faster cooking.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan to keep beef crispy.
  • Cook rice ahead to save time.
  • Adjust chilli to your taste.
  • Use high heat for a better stir-fry.
