Today, I am going to share with you how to make elderberry syrup. It's a wonderful tonic to fight colds and flu.

- 1 cup dried elderberries or 2 cups fresh
- 4 cups water
- 1 –2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 –4 whole cloves
- 1- inch fresh ginger sliced
- 1 cup raw honey add after cooling
Step 1: Combine Ingredients
Place elderberries, water, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger in a saucepan.
Step 2: Simmer Slowly
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer for 40–45 minutes.
Step 3: Mash and Strain
Mash berries with a spoon. Strain liquid through a fine mesh strainer.
Step 4: Add Honey
Let liquid cool until warm, not hot. Stir in raw honey until dissolved.
Step 5: Store and Use
Pour syrup into a glass jar. Store in the fridge for up to 2 months.
