Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 8 large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ pound spaghetti or linguine
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1:

  • Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2:

  • In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

Step 3:

  • Add olive oil and butter to the same skillet.

Step 4:

  • Add chicken strips and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Step 5:

  • Add shrimp to the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and keep warm.

Step 6:

  • Add garlic to the pan and sauté for 30 seconds.

Step 7:

  • Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently.

Step 8:

  • Whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 9:

  • In a small bowl, beat egg yolks. Slowly add a few spoonfuls of hot sauce to temper them.

Step 10:

  • Add the tempered yolks back into the skillet, stirring quickly.

Step 11:

  • Add cooked pasta, chicken, shrimp, and bacon to the sauce.

Step 12:

  • Season with salt and black pepper. Toss everything until coated well.

Step 13:

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • Cook shrimp until pink; don’t overcook.
  • Stir constantly after adding eggs to avoid curdling.
  • Use leftover pasta for a quick version.
