- 4 cups peaches peeled and chopped
- 2 jalapenos seeded and chopped
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 packet fruit pectin
Wash peaches and jalapenos well.
Peel and chop the peaches into small pieces.
Seed jalapenos and chop them very fine.
Put peaches, jalapenos, and lemon juice in a saucepan.
Add pectin and stir until mixed well.
Heat on medium flame until it starts boiling.
Add sugar slowly and stir the mix.
Keep stirring to stop it from burning.
Let it boil hard for one minute.
Remove from heat when the jam looks thick.
Use a ladle to fill jars with hot jam.
Close jars with lids and let them cool.
